Because you just might get a mixer

So if you didn't know Greg LOVES his jobs.  It is nice to have a husband who loves his job.  He loves going to work every day and he loves being there.  It makes me happy.  It makes moving all worth it.  Since he works so hard, his work got him a "Brovo" which means you can go to this web site and pick out any gift you want.  He got me a standing mixer.  What a great guy!  He could have gotten a hundred different things, and he got me a mixer.  And that is how you make a marriage work.  You think of the other person before yourself.  And you give them a mixer.
 I have made bread.
 Snickerdoodles
 And pizza crust.
And it has been one day........  And they are all gone.......This is going to be a fun, fun life.  A fun life with a standing mixer.

Dear people who think life is greener on the other side of the fence,
(And no I am not writing this about you- I am writing it about someone who does not read my blog)
You make me mad.  Whenever I think about you, I get angry inside and can't sleep.  Life is not easy.  It is hard work.  You have to work to be happy.  Sometimes even when you are doing everything right, life still sucks.  BUT guess what.  It gets better.  Maybe it will be a month, a year, or even 5 years, but it will get better.  So don't give up.  Don't throw it all away because you are unhappy now and you are tired and you just want to give up.  Because you just might get a mixer.

Washing Hands FHE

Family Home Evening was on washing your hands.  Greg, Enoch, and Ali had the crazy stomach bug this week that has been plaguing our family since October.  After being up all night with vomiting children several times in one week, I think Greg had enough.

He threaten people who-will not be named for sucking their thumbs.  He told them all that putting your hands in your mouth is why we keep getting sick!!!
So we all practiced washing our hands.  And we all vowed to do it before every meal.
Liam was a hoot the whole time.  He kept tackling people who were trying to sit quietly and listen.  ( I swear sometimes I really do brush my hair and wear make up)
 We enjoyed Snicker doodles
 Played a Lego Ninja game.
While setting up the game I thought, where is Liam..... ( splash, splash, splash,)  AND this is why we keep getting sick!
While playing the game, Enoch sneezed on the die and Liam kept putting it in his mouth.  -Sigh-   Well, at least we washed our hands before we at the cookies.

Life the last few months-

So I haven't written in a while. I don't know where to start. I couldn't write while Greg was in Ohio and I was in Indiana because he had the computer. I feel like I should recap that last few months but that feels really over whelming to me. Let me just say that it was hard. I could write about all the awful things that happened. However I feel like that woudd be dwelling on the bad things. And I find thinking about all of the good things really makes me happier. So I don't think I will relive all of the awfulness. Here are some picture of the last few months. Good things that happened while Greg was gone:
1. I really enjoyed some good times with my Mother-in-Law
2. I really got to see how crazy life could get and I not end up in a mental institution
3. I learned how much I love/need/depend on Greg and all that he does
4. I have enjoyed my children in ways I never had before/ ( letting one stay up with me late at night (8:00 p.m.) and watch T.V.
